Question 1

What file comes with the Swaystash subscription?

Accepted Answer

The download is swaystash-income-budget.xlsx, an Office Open XML (.xlsx) workbook with five sheets: Quick Start, Quarterly Budget, Income Log, Business Spending, and Personal Spending. It uses IF, ISBLANK, OR, SUMIFS, and EDATE formulas, and has no macros or external links.

Question 2

Can I open the workbook in Excel or Google Sheets?

Accepted Answer

Microsoft Excel opens .xlsx files, and Google Sheets can import them. Formatting or calculations may differ after import. Swaystash has not tested this workbook in every spreadsheet app and does not promise identical behavior across apps.

Question 3

How does the quarterly tax reserve work?

Accepted Answer

The tax-rate input starts blank. Choose a quarter and enter your own rate; the workbook multiplies income recorded for that quarter by the rate you enter to calculate the reserve. Swaystash does not recommend a tax rate, and the workbook is not tax advice.

Question 4

How does the workbook calculate the flexible amount?

Accepted Answer

For the quarter you select, the flexible amount subtracts the calculated tax reserve and logged business and personal spending from income recorded in the workbook.

Question 5

How much does the workbook subscription cost?

Accepted Answer

The downloadable workbook subscription is $15 per month, billed monthly as a recurring subscription.

Question 6

How can I get my download link again?

Accepted Answer

The link appears on the checkout success page only after the initial subscription payment is verified. The same reusable link is emailed to the address entered at checkout. Reload the page or reopen the original success URL with its session_id; Swaystash rechecks the saved checkout and shows the existing link, even while email delivery is pending. There is no Swaystash account library or other self-service recovery path.
